Description
TOA M-864D CU Rack-Mount Digital Audio Mixer w/ARC & FBS (4U) 8 Mono Inputs 6 Stereo Inputs Ethernet Control
Product Details
The TOA M-864D “maintains the basic functionality and operability of its predecessor, the M-633D, but adds such versatile features as analog-feel fader operation, 8 monaural and 7 stereo input channels, remote controller operation and fine-tuning of settings with GUI software”.
The faders are the point of difference. Fourteen analogue volume faders — ten input, four output, linkable in pairs with the supplied gang bars — give an operator something to grab in a live room, where a menu-driven mixer slows everything down. TOA aims it at hotel banquet rooms and multipurpose halls for exactly that reason.
Processing is automatic where it should be: Automatic Resonance Control builds the EQ curve for each of four output channels without an acoustic measuring instrument, a feedback suppressor works on all eight monaural inputs independently, and an automatic mute ducks the stereo inputs. Sixteen preset memories, a 12 × 4 matrix, Ethernet and RS-232C control, and up to eight remote panels on each of two channels. 4U.
