Description
Klipsch RSM-400 White, Pair
Product Details
The Klipsch RSM-400 is the compact model in the residential surface-mount range, with a 4" woofer and 3/4" titanium compression driver on a 90° x 90° modified Tractrix horn. It replaces the AW-400 and suits patios, covered walkways and smaller outdoor areas where a 6.5" or 8" box would be more speaker than the space needs.
Unlike the larger RSM models this one uses a sealed enclosure rather than a ported design. Sealed keeps the response tight and predictable when the speaker is mounted tight under an eave or in a corner, where a port would be unevenly loaded.
The all-weather ABS cabinet is paintable and IPX5 rated for sustained water exposure, not just rain. Dual 5-way binding posts accept bare wire, banana plugs, spades or pins. White finish, sold as a pair.
