NVR H2D8PAC (16-ch) is a network video recorder with a 4K HDMI output, 8 built-in PoE ports and two hot-swappable drive bays. The PoE ports power and connect the cameras directly, so a small site needs no separate injector or switch — recorder, power and network in one box.
It records 16 channels from Ajax cameras and third-party IP cameras over ONVIF and RTSP. Each PoE port delivers up to 25 W under IEEE 802.3af/at, with a total budget of up to 160 W across the switch. Gigabit Ethernet uplink, 160 Mbps in each direction, three USB 2.0 ports. Mains powered at 100–240 V, drawing up to 280 W with cameras attached. JetSparrow dual-stream technology keeps archive navigation fast and the transfer encrypted, and the archive is synchronised with security system events, so an alarm can be reviewed as footage in one step.
Two SATA III bays take hot-swappable drives, so a failed disk is pulled and replaced without powering the recorder down — recording continues through the service call instead of leaving a gap in the archive. Access rights are set per user, footage export carries a digital signature verified by Ajax Media Player, and account security covers two-factor authentication, session control and biometric login. Supplied in the white finish; the same recorder in black is stocked as 160691.122.BL3.
